All beginner classes are Hatha inspired and are an incredible opportunity to learn the foundations of yoga in a supportive and open environment. This class is also suitable for anyone who is looking for a gentle yoga practise and those with physical limitations.
Core Power Flow classes are lively, energetic, flowing classes synchronizing breath with movement. Build strength, flexibility, and concentration. Cleanse the body and calm the mind. Core Power Flow classes do not follow a set sequence of postures. Each class is unique and will vary from teacher to teacher. You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). Heat is created in Power Flow classes through challenging work not by adjusting the thermostat as in a Bikram or Hot yoga classes.
In this fast paced flowing class, strength, flexibility and stamina are all emphasized. This is a vigorous style of yoga that combines Ashtanga Yoga and powerful Hatha Yoga flows and postures (asanas). Be prepared to sweat!
These classes are our way of giving back to our community while supporting emerging teachers. Yoga By Donation is suitable for all levels, with proceeds benefiting local charity and non-perishable food items being collected for the food bank. These classes will not affect your memberships, instead pay what you can and help us spread the word.
Classic yoga postures (asanas) with emphasis on posture alignment and coordination of breath and movement. This yoga practice enhances muscle tone, flexibility, balance, coordination and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs, and encourages a peaceful mind. Hatha yoga participants leave feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed and renewed. The level of the yoga class will depend on the teacher and the needs of the students. Classes can be made easier or more challenging by following the teachers' cues for variations and modifications of the poses.
Long, deep stretching helps cultivate a meditative mind. This deep yoga practice allows space for emotional cleansing and deep physical openings, particularly through the hips, pelvis, and spine. Yin yoga targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. Each posture is held for long periods of time (3-5 sometimes 20 mins) to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues. Yin yoga focuses on breath, softness and surrender, allowing for a deep exploration of the body. You will leave feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful. Yin yoga is quite a challenging practice due to the length of time postures are held, but is open to all levels and is the perfect complement to more active, yang styles of yoga, such as Power Yoga or Ashtanga.
Yin/ Hatha is a fusion class combining Yin and Hatha yoga practises together in the one class.
5 Tibetans/ Hatha is a fusion class comprised of the 5 Tibetans which is a Tibetan system of repeated exercise that have been quoted to be the "fountain of youth". Deep in the Himalayan mountains, the Tibetan monks devised these 5 key exercises to stimulate the nervous system, increase flexibility, challenge your sense of balance and strength in this class the 5Tibetans are complimented by Hatha Yoga.

Our Kundalini yoga class is open to all levels. Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic, powerful, fast paced and effective form of yoga that produces quick results. Benefits of Kundalini yoga classes include weight control, relief from stress and insomnia, enhanced creativity, lymphatic cleansing, liver detoxification, balancing the heart and mind, and developing will-power. A Kundalini yoga class stimulates the nervous system, glandular system and the immune system as it centres the mind and opens the spirit. These results are achieved through specific yoga posture sets. Each Kundalini yoga class includes centering oneself with a mantra, warm up, a specific yoga postures set, deep relaxation and meditation.

Is a Hatha inspired class created to help make yoga more affordable and accessible to Students.
Advanced Hatha classes are lively, energetic, flowing classes synchronizing breath with movement. Build strength, flexibility, and concentration. Cleanse the body and calm the mind. Each class is unique and will vary from teacher to teacher.
Restorative yoga is thought of by many as "active relaxation". A deeply meditative practise. By supporting the body with props, one may alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. Some poses have an overall benefit. Others target an individual part, such as the lungs or heart. All create specific physiological responses which are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress-related disease, injury, illness, fatigue and trauma. Additionally, each of the restorative yoga poses moves the spine in all directions, putting into practice the ancient yoga idea that a healthy spine promotes well-being. A meditative and detoxifying experience. All levels are welcome and all props are provided for the class.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is intense and flowing type of hatha yoga that improves strength, flexibility and concentration. Each class will include a short meditation, breathing exercise (pranayama) and end in a deep relaxation (savasana). The postures together with controlled breathing produces heat and cleanse the body. Modifications for postures will be given throughout the class making it great for all levels. Leave feeling confident and energized!
Beginner Power will build on the postures from the Hatha Yoga classes. This is an "All Levels" class. Beginner variations through to advanced variations will be given. Flows will be a little more challenging to help take your practice to the next level.
In a Pristine Restorative Yoga class you are invited to jouranl and explore your connection to your intuition and any symptoms of pain, tension or anxiety you may be carring physically, mentally or emotionally. During a session clients are invited to reflect on questions that help develop insight, understanding and inner peace. Participation in these additional steps to the Restorative Practise are voluntary and private. Restorative yoga is thought of by many as "active relaxation". A deeply meditative practise. Join Cheryl, for an journey into the self through hot yoga. This is not your typical hot yoga class! It is a fusion of traditional Hatha with a hot sequence that warms you from the inside out. Whether this is your first class or your 100th, Hot yoga is for everyone! A little bit about this type of practice;

It is not about the physical room being hot. It's more about raising your core body temperature internally through asana that helps you build the fire within by using the tapas (self-discipline). The sequence consists of breathing exercises, standing and seated postures that flow beautifully. The heat brings more oxygen to the muscles which detoxifies the physical and spiritual body, which allows for a deeper range of motion in the poses. This builds confidence in your practice and allows you to advance at your own pace.

In this class we will guarantee a healthy glow radiating within and without. (* Caution* - The side affect from hot yoga is extreme fits of blissful happiness.)

*Note: The room will be just a little warmer than usual. Hydrate well before class and do not eat at least 2 hours before. Not recommended for pregnant women or children under 13.

Discover different techniques for meditation. Meditation is generally an inward practice done in silence or with the repetation of a "mantra", "prayer" or "affirmation" used to cultivate calmness and alignment with your source. The asana will be Yin based so we will be able to use the poses to go deeper into the body with our meditation. Realizing and releasing "issues in the tissues" and observing the comings and goings of the busy mind.
